Schooling and Life in Chendur

Having my first year of schooling finished, We had to move from Trichy to one of the lands of Murugan Temple, Chendur town, to stay along with my grandpa(father's father) family. The family has many a siblings of my father and we 4 stayed in a small room.

Chendur Murugan Temple

Those three years of schooling were all about my poor learning, daily walks to school, lunch at home and of-course about my first favourite guru - 'Meena' teacher.
Some days or the other, my dad used to drop me in school in his cycle. One day, I was so adamant to go to school, but my dad made me sit at his cycle back, drove all the way to school despite myself crying throughout. Then he made me get down, caught my hand and pulled me along to the school gate. I was still adamant to step in. My dad asked me in anger, "Padikkaama, enna maadu maekka poriyaa.!". Immediately I stopped crying and said those three heart-touching words "AAM PORAEN PAA.!".
It was indeed very heart-touching for my dad, he immediately left my hand. I thought he would take me home. Apram thaan periya aappu vachanga my daddy. "orae mithi", I fell down. . then he started beating me black and blue. I was crying like hell, then came my life saviour 'Meena' teacher and took me in, consoling my dad. From that moment, I started liking her much and obeyed what all she said. She was indeed very friendly and helping, taught well too. I was so consistent in my studies that time ;-)(Once I failed in a month, immediately next month I got first rank)
There were several other things in those three years, that are always memorable.!
1) Dinners in the terrace with my aunt, hearing her interesting tales.
2) Non-stop playing with other small kids in our family in the backyard.
3) Evening walks along the beach.
4) A day when the mango turned red which I was eating (Tooth fell, blood came)
5) Mom's sweet care and affection.
6) Festival time celebrations.
It was a bit family time when i finished my second standard, so we 4 had to shift to TIRUNELVELI, my favourite place ever.

ChildHood in Trichy - II

Moving along the happy chidhood from 1990 to 1992, there were moments that each one in this world would have got in their childhood. There is not much stuff to write in these two years. My only side-dish for whatever food i in-take as a child was only 'MILK' (for everythin from idli, dosa to chapathi and rice my fav was only Milk)
I was so naughty that time, jumping and running here and there often. Once When my mom was busy cooking, I took a stick and started breaking the switches in the hall. Suddenly my mom came running, as she heared someone shout. It was me...! (Apram udacha switchku ulla kayya vittaa shock adikkaama enna pannumaam) ;-)
Added to this, when I got my first tricycle, I used to ride it like hell (just like now when i ride a bike). One day what happened, I just rode all the way around 2 kms from my home to the main road (!!!!!!!!) everyone were shocked like hell, finally my father getting me back home. My parents used to play carrom and they would not allow me to play (yo know what i would do - I ll stand, then go and sit in the middle of the carrom itself ha ha).

When I was around 3 years old, my sis was born and here are some snaps of myself with her (sorry for such blurred photos). She was very cute..! (isn't it?)

Still could remember the days when I used to get teased by a 8th std guy daily in my rickshaw when I was doing my LKG (oru naal ammaa kitta avana maatti vittu sema thittu vaanga vachaen athu secondary) and also the days when I go with my dad to the stadium, seeing him play shuttle with his friends. :-)

ChildHood in Trichy - I

It is time to move on.Let me write something about my first phase of childhood in Trichy.
My dad, a goods guard in southern railway that time, got his transfer to Trichy. My parents were living along with their gift (naan thaan pa athu) in the Railway quarters. My mom showed all her love to me, in addition to her my bigma and her family showered tons on me too :-) Sonnaa namba maatteenga, naan nallaa sivappaa irunthaenaam appa. I was so so good that time, that I would be allowing everyone to take me in their hands. I bet you, I would have got nearly around 2000 kisses till my first birthday.
And I am too good for my mom as a child, that I would eat all stuff my mom would give (pothuvaa chinna kulanthainga olungaa saapda maattaanga atha mean panraen- ). I can feel what u are thinking right now (ippa theriyuthu intha paya epdi ivlo valanthrukkaan apdinu).K cool.. Then about my first friend......!
Enna friendaa first birthdayku munnaadiyae epdi apdinnu kaekreengalaa?.. He was a friend to me, for only about half an hour, after that he died :-( :-(. My mom left me near the front gate unaware that it is open and went inside to work. I grabbed the opportunity, went out and sat with the ball my mom gave to play. Then my friend came and I was very much surprised by his strange appearance, so started playing with him. After half an hour or so, my dad came and got extremely shocked seeing my friend. He shouted and asked my mom to bring a huge stick,. She did so,then my dad started beating my poor friend black and blue until he died. My first friend lasted for just half an hour.. cha....:-( :-( yaarnu kaekreengalaa athu........ a 6 feet long snake...!!

Nothing doing..! (ll try to post some of my childhood photos if i could snap them properly from the albums in my home)

First Day in my Life

Anyone who reads this post would guess what I am going to share. Let me make it mine. On a fine day after a veggie friday, when a pregnant lady was fast asleep, something woke her up.

She felt it was a heartless guy kicking her from inside, unable to come from darkness. Her pain started increasing more and more. Her relatives took her in a car from her sister's house to Salem that took nearly 4 hours. How that lady would have beared the pain? (The heartless guy had such a cruel nature ;))

Added to it, even after reaching the hospital she could not get her lovable heartless guy out from her very soon. The doctors said "No Normal delivery only Scissarian!". Then Operation went on and by 7pm, a life saw this world. It is....................

a real God, the ultimate lover, a humble sacrificer and a gentle personality. Ya it was my SWEET MOM.

What are u searching for? That heartless guy aah... That stupid came out of darkness and started laughing by 4pm itself. (My mom used to say many a time to me "Nee purakrathukkulla enna paadaa paduthutiya daa") :-(

Days rolled by and every relative who came to see this guy, would never forget one thing in him.. His Big,Big,Big...............................
..............................................................................................HEAD.!

(Catch u soon in my next post, with a lot of humourous things that i did in my childhood)
